It is always a special pleasure to deal with those who live many miles away, and we appreciate the trust that is placed in our hands.

Just as we take care in breeding and raising quality puppies, we also take care in preparing the puppy for the flight to its new home.
The airlines continue to provide quality care to our puppies & we feel secure  using them for transporting of our babies to their new homes within the USA and Canada.

While the puppies are on the airplane they are able to move freely in their kennel and walk around. They have water and food available as well as a soft blanket and a furry little stuffed animal friend.

Extra food is placed in a baggy and taped to the top of the kennel. We print the customers name, address, phone number, airport  and state on the kennel with  permanat marker.

We do not fly puppies under 12 weeks of age.We only fly puppies who are social and enjoy the attention from others.

1. The lambswool bed is secured to the sides of the crate so puppy cannot push bed down.I want the sides of the bed to stay up to offer comfort and warmth.
2.Under this bed was placed a  SNUGGLE Heat pad ( wrapped and pinned in a receving blanket) Theis heated disc  will make warmth come up through the bottom of the bed.
3.Paper shavings are in front of the kennel for a litter box but also some are placed inside the bed area.
4.The sock to the left of the bed is filled with hand warmer pads that heat up when exposed to air andf stay warm for 6-8 hours. The puppy can cuddle next to this sock as if she were snuggling next to another puppy.
5.The colorful pad on the right of the bed is also filled with warming pads .

We do not usually place three types of heat, but this puppy is a teacup and flying to Chicago with cold weather and we want to make sure she will stay warm for several hours.

Depending on many factors sometimes we use a nice new blanket instead of the bed.Carrier supplies and sizes vary.We have pictures on our home page of other kennels set for flight.
STEP ONE

A waterproof pad  or non ink paper is placed on the bottom of the crateWe also use pee pads to wrapped folders in so they do not become soiled during flight. We use several layers of paper towels on the top.

During cooler weather Aabed or blanket is secured inside the back end of the kennel.A safe heat sourse if placed under the bed.The heat sourse is wrapped and secured before being placed under the bed.

STEP TWO

1 We have a couple different types of heat we use in the winter. Stuffing socks is wonderful ! Filling up with hand warmers turns the socks in a warm snuggle companion for your puppy. We also use other  heat sources if needed such as Snuggle.

2. Food is taped ot the top of kennel as well as care instructions, Nutrical and a toy.

3. Notice that food bowls are snapped in place and ALSO secured on the outside of kennel  with strong masking tape. tape ( red tape in this case as we like pretty colored tape)
Carriers and supplies vary depending on time of year and weather
HEAT IS ONLY ADDED IN THE WINTER AND IS ADDED DUE TO THE SHORT PERIOD THE PUPPY UNBOARDS ND IS EXPOSED TO OUTSIDE TEMPERATURES. THIS IS USUALLY  10-20 MINUTES IF THAT LONG. SINCE AIRPLANES STAY AT AROUND 70 DEGREES THE HEAT WILL NOT HARM THE PUPPY WHILE ON THE AIRPLANE.IT WOULD BE LIKE SNUGGLING UP TO A BUDDY.
