Although veterinarians spend 8 years in school, they do not spend much time on nutrition nor on vaccine safety. Most of what they are taught covers the muscles, bones, organs, surgeries and medications. Would you be shocked at the number of puppies and adult dogs accidentally killed each year by veterinarians? Or have you escaped the extra costs of your vet treating the injuries he himself caused? Have you noticed that even if the veterinarian is to blame for the injury in your pet, he will use the breeder or vaccine company as a scape goat? Or he will blame the "weaknesses" in the pet itself. Have you ever come across a vet who will take liability for injuring or killing a beloved pet? I have read so many letters and have seen so much myself to know that veterinarians have a "universal" way of not admitting to anything. The Vet will blame the breeder, the vaccines, the owner, the dog itself but never ever admit wrong doing himself .
It is vital that you do not permit a veterinarian to give your tiny puppy or small breed adult dog too many vaccines at one time. I have received numerous emails over the years of veterinarians giving the Rabies vaccine right along with the yearly 6 or 7 way booster, which was then followed by death of the adult small breed dog within hours to a few weeks after damage to the brain or liver was complete.
Just think of the number of our pets who survive such incompetent vaccination without any outward signs of illness, but then down the road, while still quite young, they develop degenerative diseases you would normally see in an elderly pet.
Also think about the billions of dollars veterinarians rake in each year treating diseases and illnesses THEY INDUCED in our pets.
If a veterinarian injures your pet with improper vaccines and medications then you will pay them hundreds and thousands over the years to treat the damaged animal they caused.
Not only will the vast majority of veterinarians never admit blame, but he will charge you to treat the beloved pet he injured.

1. Take the example of the woman who took her 5 lb Chihuahua in to be dipped for fleas. When she picked up her dog from the vet's office, she noticed immediately he was in respiratory distress and she raced him to an emergency clinic where he died of drowning caused by inhaling the dip.
2. Another example: A woman who takes her 1 and 1 /2 lb 4 month old puppy to the Vet, and the Vet gives the puppy his last set of puppy shots and throws in the rabies vaccine too. Within hours or a few days, the puppy starts seizing and dies. The vet will say the puppy had a "vaccine reaction" or the puppy had a genetic "brain disorder" (time to call and blame the breeder). The vet will say anything to divert the blame from himself.
Is it unreasonable to project that sick puppies and bad breeders are a veterinarian' s main income? The vet will speak deploringly of "bad" breeders, but inside he knows the value of a sick pet.
After he convinces you of your pets weaknesses he may be as crooked as making sure your pet is made sicker by giving your dog too large a dosing of heartworm or flea medications each month, because in a year or so a liver injury can mean sonograms, X-rays, or exploratory surgery. Think of the millions of dollars to be made from a pet with "unknown" liver damage!
So if you have a strong healthy puppy, watch out for the arsenal of monthly medications and carelessly administered vaccines over the months and years as these will soon lower the health level in your pet and all of us know that a less healthy pet will incur more medical bills.
How often have I heard, "I have been with my veternarian for years," or "My veternarian is very responsible."
There are people out there who trust their veterinarians with the lives of their pets. There are people out there who trust their doctors fully with their own lives.
These people perhaps cannot find the time to study, research and thus take control to ensure the well being of their pets. They depend on the medical world to call the shots. Many Vets graduate in the bottom of their classes and did not receive training in the dangers of vaccines, or the overdosing dangers of drugs with resulting liver, brain and kidney toxicity...
Veterinarians are taught gastroenterology, urology, endocrinology, critical care, and infectious disease, ultrasonography, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, electrodiagnostics, CT scan, nuclear medicine, and radioactive iodide therapy.
They are taught all the ways to TREAT disease.
Are they ever taught how to PREVENT disease?
Why would they be taught that? How would vets support themselves if we all had healthy pets?
Veterinarians are taught to TREAT degenerative diseases, not to PREVENT degenerative disease.
