Hi Debra,
I thought I would give you an update on Lily, that’s her name now. She is the love of our life and more than we could ever hope for. We trusted you to match a puppy to our life style and energy level and got a perfect match. She is so smart it’s uncanny. She can climb just about anything. I nicknamed her monkey paws.
When we got her home she was a little timid for a few minutes and then started exploring her new home. She is so curious about everything. Once we changed her food to the other brand you suggested, she eats like a little pig. We have a potty box with pee pads in it. We figured out her signal to go very quick and would just put her in when she’s ready. She does her business, hops out and then starts kicking her back feet. It’s so funny. She has only had a few accidents, and after three days I can honestly say she is house broken. It’s been a few weeks now and she never goes anywhere but in her box. You can really tell you have them house trained and socialized when you release them to us.
She sleeps in her playpen at night. She whined for a few nights, but settles right in now that she knows she won’t get her way. She even threw a fit a few times and started throwing her toys all around. Now she sleeps like a baby.
She loves all her toys and takes hording them very seriously. She takes her blanket, drags it to where she wants it. She then gathers all her toys, puts them on her blanket and covers them up. When she wants them, she will uncover them and scatter them all over the living room playing with them all. Did I tell you she’s a soccer star? We gave her these little nerf style balls and she bats them all over the living room. Then she pounces on it with all four feet, grabs it in her mouth and throws it up in the air so she can start all over again. She’s so funny; we love to watch her play.
Did I tell you how smart she is? I’ve been working with her and she can dance like a ballerina and sit and stay on command. We have taken her out a few times to socialize her and she likes it. She has no problems with people touching her and shows no signs of stress. She doesn’t even shake. I truly believe my dream of her becoming a therapy dog for the elderly will become a reality. Thank you so much.
I did about four months of research and looked at every site on the internet. For some reason I kept coming back to yours. When I called and talked with you, I knew you were the breeder for me. You have been a Chi breeder for many years and I know you have devoted your life to breeding the best of the best. Knowing what I now know, I would never purchase a Chi from anyone but you. You may think your paying a lot, but you get so much more than you pay for and you can’t put a price on that.

.Are you aware that the extra tiny Chihuahuas are NOT common. Dishonest breeders and Scammers know how to market their larger Chihuahua puppies they have for sale. They call all their puppies "MICRO TEACUP" and POCKET CHIHUAHUAS, or MICRO POCKET PURSE CHIHUAHUAS regardless of final adult size. These con artists will freely give you "lip service" otherwise known as LIES and "guarantee" a teeny adult size until they are blue in the face. Anything it takes to make a sale. Read one woman's adventure with a Scammer after she left an honest breeder in 2007 because the breeder refused to promise that a puppy predicted to be 2 lbs would not go lbs grown. Scammers and dishonest breeders will guarantee ANYHTING that looks like a Chihuahua to be a "teacup" and often the pup will go over 10 lbs , many emails I receive state 15 and 20 lbs. No wonder Chihuahua rescues and the pounds are full. Plenty of buyers could not handle the large size or poor temperament of the dog they were conned into buying.
Often people will call even my larger adults "teacups". This is due to the body size rather then weight
How many of you have seen an actual 2 or 3 lb Chihuahua? I know what a 2 and 3 lb adult looks like and I am out often at Petshops and vets office and I rarely if ever see an adult Chihuahua under 4 lbs. Perhaps you have seen the tiny Chihuahuas that are the size of Chloe from Beverly Hills Chihuahuas and just assummed 2 or 3 lbs? Chloe is a 5 lb Chihuahua and should be tiny enough for most families. Are you sure you want a 2 - 3 lb grown Chihuahua who must live in a playpen the majority of the time because you have have small children, or active older children and adults in the home. Even if you are a single adult or married couple, is someone home most of the time? Extra tiny 3 lb grown dogs need much more care to diet and climate temperature then the 5 lbs grown Chihuahua. One mistake in the care of a 2 or 3 lb dog, such as shivering all night due to a cold house and heating pad not being plugged in, then you wake up to a crisis if the tiny Chihuahua even survived the night. Can you handle the broken hearts of your spouse or child? If you want a 3 lb Chihuahua then you want a 3 lb Chihuahua but it is a breeder's duty to inform the public of the higher health risks and the massive amount of extra time you will spend in the care of an extra small Chihuahua. Chihuahuas under 4 lbs are fragile like China with a much higher incident of dying young from being dropped, from being stepped on, from falling off furniture , from temperature intolerance and feeding errors.
After you fall in love you might regret the small delicate size you chose for your loved ones..
