ABOUT MY FAMILY AND PROGRAM
My young adult children, mother and grandmother all pitch in to help me in the housing and care of our Chihuahuas. I also have some customer turned friends who also help. I feel it is important that a breeder be secure and confident in their ability to produce high quality Chihuahua dogs for your family. It would be the same as choosing a physician, as you would wish to have one confident in their abilities to diagnose and heal.

ABOUT THE BREEDER
Many caring dog breeders were animal lovers as children. As a child I bred hamsters, rats, mice, parakeets, cockatiels, canaries, finches, dwarf rabbits and live bearing freshwater fish such as fancy guppies, swordtails, black mollies, and platies. As an adult I became a widow at a young age with three children under 11 to raise . I bought a puppy for my grieving children and the puppy brought smiles and joy back into their lives (and mine). The whole experience lead me to be able to view the wonderful side of the breeder world. Dog breeders in the last decade are all lumped together by animal activists and never spoken of in a positive manner. I have pride in the service I offer society.
Honest dog breeders pay Federal and State taxes which contributes to social programs.
Reputable dog breeders contribute a much welcomed service of quality puppies to loving families. Try to imagine a world without dog breeders.

Active in feline rescue TNR, with daily feeding and care of feral's colonies throughout our area, and of many unadoptables with health and personality disorders, fully supported by puppy sales, no donations. Sinbad in the movie about was brought to me from a nurse at a Stockton Ca Animal Hospital after being mauled by a pitbull. Chest wounds and a shattered leg with the hospital not giving him any treatment for 72 hours, but calling animal services to come and put him down. The Vet at the hospital would not use his own drugs to euthanize the kitten. A nurse smuggled him out of the hospital to me before animal control arrived. Sinbad's leg was black and swollen double it's size, several bones shattered and my Vet advised amputation but I planned an agressive alternative course involvin message, 3 antibiotics followed 9 days later by surgery

Welcome to Munchkinland Chihuahuas! We are a family of relatives who hobby together in the love of Chihuahuas. We are located in Northern California. We provide delivery options for those of you who are far from us.
We specialize in small dollfaced Chihuahuas.We strive to produce unique exquisite Chihuahuas which would have us stand out in a crowd. We produce beautiful rounded apple dome heads and well defined stops, when viewed in profile, forms a 90 degree angle where muzzle joins skull. We adore the wide shorter muzzle and wide spaced eyes. These special characteristics combined together produce a darling appearance. We also breed for compact body lengths with level toplines, no arching or bowing of the back called "roach back". Health and sound temperament are always top priorities of course.
We breed to better the breed which means that our quality continues to rise each year as we remove any dog who produces a higher rate of pet quality Chihuahua puppies versus show quality Chihuahua puppies. We strive for excellence and are reaching a level now where close to 90% or more of our puppies are show prospects.
We remain very client focused once we place our Chihuahua puppies into your care. We are concerned with your satisfaction and the welfare of our puppies once they are out of our hands. We welcome your emails and telephone calls for advice.

We have heavy Champion bloodlines, but the shows, ribbons and titles are not the number one priority. Anyone with plenty of money and persistence can bring a quality Chihuahua to Champion title. Single participants are permitted in most events (no competition) with sure win of the only dog in the ring. Like the majority of breeders, we have seen Champions we would not consider adding to our own breeding program. A GRAND Champion is uncommon and something to be extremely proud of! Champions competing against Champions with the winner a GRAND Champion. It is unlikely you will find any Breeders with Grand Champions. Teacup Chihuahuas! A teacup here? And a teacup there? Everywhere a teacup?
It appears that the extra tiny Chihuahuas often called "teacup" Chihuahua are common. Or could it be that there are many scammers online baiting with size terms? This is the largest fraud sales tactic in use online with Chihuahua puppies for sale.
A common fraud is the prediction of adult size based on newborn weight. Extra tiny newborn Chihuahuas may be temporarily stunted due to an insufficient placenta while in uteri and and will catch in a few weeks.
Those who want a low weight puppy feel that a low weight guarantees a small Chihuahua, but weight alone never guarant
ees a teeny Chihuahua. Large 13 inch long Chihuahuas can weigh 2 to 3 lbs grown. SKINNY! Certainly not small.

A common fraud is that Champion lines alone merits a high price. Regardless of Champion bloodlines, if a Chihuahua puppy is simple pet quality then it merits a lower price as a pet quality puppy
How hard is it for a con man to lie? Chihuahua Breeders who blare the terms Micro Teacup Chihuahuas all over their websites are the very ones who are the least likely to have the tiny sizes. Any breeder who tries to convince you a young Chihuahua puppy will be a 2 or 3 lb adult is a scammer.
An honest Chihuahua breeder will admit that an educated guess can be given based on the size of parents and puppies from past litters, from size of relatives and also current age, weight and size of puppy. Aso the older the puppy the easier to predict more accurate.
Consumers should keep a realistic outlook so they do not become vulnerable to the "endearing" size terms used as bait. Being told 5 month old Chihuahua puppies weigh 17 oz is unrealistic and the pup arrives days later she weighs 3 lbs, you fall in love just as the scammer planned. Small breed toy dogs like Chihuahuas have growth spurts in puppies from 9-12 wks old. Bad breeders pitching "teacups" want puppies gone before the growth spurt hits. Is it difficult to figure out why?

BREEDER COMPETENCY
Laws do not require dog breeders to spend years of expensive study in school on canine pathology, parasitology, microbiology and canine genetics to become certified as competent to produce living dogs. Yet a Veterinarian cannot legally give a puppy a vaccine injection without spending many thousands of dollars and 8 years in study at an accredited school. I would think that producing the lives of genetically sound pets is as important as the treatment given to genetically weak dogs throughout their life time.

Hi, when I was looking for ads for chihuahuas for sale I came across your website. I thought you might want to know a lady advertising on kijiji-Detroit is using your exact same photo you have on your main page. I have attached the photo. I was going to buy this puppy from her on Monday but I'm not now, I don't know what's real. Somethings not right. I just thought you might want to know - it's a shame people are scanners! We almost bought a pup from MI ......these are the exact same photos used in another persons ad and we tried to get them to send us photos of parents and this is what held us up from the sale. i am sure these are your photos ..... we thought that she had what we were looking for- she could not send us updated photos and my husband was passing MI today and would have bought a pup later on his way back...
