WHAT TO EXPECT FROM PROFESSIONAL CHIHUAHUA BREEDERS
- Always have champion bloodline Chihuahuas and own one or more Champions.
- Will offer their Veterinarian's phone number .
- Have years worth of references with contact information listed as proof of validity.
- Pay state, federal & sales taxes.
- Will email you a copy of their driver's license.
- Minimum 1 year health warranty including 2 weeks Parvo and pre-exisiting Parasites
- Never release puppies as young as 8 weeks since they have true tiny Chihuahuas
If a breeder is proud of the parents, they will have adult photo pages
Accepting only email photos of parents of puppies can make you vulnerable to dis honest breeders. There are many reputable breeders online and they are proud of their adult breeding dogs and post pictures of the adults. There are also plenty naughty people online selling poor quality puppies while they call themselves breeders. They are fully aware how awful their parent dogs look. These type "breeders" often steal photos of show dogs that belong to professional breeders. They use the stolen photos on their websites to represent the parents of the puppies they sell. Posting stolen photos means a high risk getting caught though, so these scammers prefer to email the stolen photos. Who else sees the stolen photos besides you? A consumer contacted and informed me that she had found a breeder using a stolen photo of one of my adult Chihuahuas on her website.
The government does not require people who produce puppies to take any academic courses, yet by sharp contrast, Veterinarians must spend 8 years in an accredited school before they can even give a shot to your Chihuahua puppy. So the fact remains that ANYONE can pair two dogs together to produce puppies & call themselves a breeder.
A teacup here and a teacup there, here a teacup, there a teacup, EVERYWHERE a teacup? Many dishonest breeders will be happy to tickle your ears with the right words they know you want to hear. They fabricate as many promises as it will take. 1 to 2 lbs grown?.... Sure thing Ma'am! 3 inch tall adult? .........Absolutely sir!
Once your 7 week old that was sold to you as a 12 week old teacup has the 9 week old growth spurt that all small breeds have, your "teacup" doubles in size within a few weeks of being home. Hmmmm? Now let's say you have a breeder who sends you a 7 week old tiny puppy she call a teacup. It is normal to be tiny at 7 weeks. Then, Un-Oh, the 9 week old growth spurt hits, THEN you end up with nearly double the size within a short time. Where did the teacup go? Now you feel that the breeder is a big bad naughty breeder. You slowly come to understand why she wanted the puppy gone by 8 weeks in the first place! The growth spurt kicked in and no longer can the wool be pulled over your eyes. Here is a true STORY some of you might like about the dark side of those "Promises" on size.
Best advise I can give: When they make promises on size, it is far best you run away. This is the best CLUE I can give you in finding the many reputable honest breeders that are on the internet mixed in with the naughty ones..

Prices of our puppies do not include breeding rights. We do give rights on the nicest quality boys we have, but rarely give breeding rights on females since most are too small for breeding adults.We keep the few females that might get to 4 lbs , but you can inquire and I can let you know If I feel I have a female who will be large enough
Prices do include appropriate vaccinations for age and de worming's, pedigree and registration papers as well as 10 year warranty and a 2 week Parvo warranty. We use Neopar for the best Parvo protection in the world!
Transportation to a major airport nearest you is available at an additional $295.00 and includes Vet exam with health and flight certificate, transportation to the departure airport, travel crate, supplies & airfare. We place food, water, blanket,& toy in with the puppy. Healthy social pups do not get hypoglycemia & handle flights well.
Chihuahua puppies are available in many shapes and sizes due to a flooding of the market with non-reputable breeders who just pair any chihuahua looking dogs together to produce puppies to sell. So many Chihuahua dogs with too large bodies and poor confrmation are found.

Professional Breeders have the Chihuahua breed size of 2 to 6 lbs in their Chihuahua dogs. The other type breeders use large Chihuahuas that are often not purebreds. Stunted sickly Chihuahua puppies are not TEACUPS.
