Hi , We picked her up this morning and she arrived safe and sound. She is PERFECT! I love her and she is so happy with her new family. She is eating and drinking and going potty on her pad and is adjusting quite well.Oh I can tell she is one healthy puppy and the Vet is right "she is the most beautiful puppy ever" Thank you so much for selling her to me! I got my first Chihuahua from you a few month ago and she loves Priceless, they play so well together. I hear from other Chihuahua owners that they could not potty train their puppy's but both of mine went on the pee pads the moment I brought them home. We're so attached to her, she's just so beautiful and perfect. At 7 months she weighs 2 pounds 14 ounces. And I get compliments about how beautiful she is, everywhere I go. I can't help looking at other Chihuahuas I see and compare her and she is by far always the prettiest. I went to the pet store to buy her food this week and they had two littles chi pups for sale, I had Chili with me as usual. So the employee wanted to show me her chihuahua pups. When I took Chili out of my winter coat (it's cold here in Ottawa) she was amazed at Chili's little body and pelt and the shape of her head and nose, she kept repeating how beautiful she is. And although I was polite and didn't say what I thought, I looked at the other pups and thought they didn't even come close to Chili. They were 9 weeks old and were already bigger than my seven month old Chili.. I wouldn't want to get another Chihuhua from any other breeder than you! I am so happy with Chili, she was worth every penny. And even my husband now realizes that. He keeps telling me how happy is is that I got her and that I made the right choice. So Debra, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My little Shark :) She has been at exactly 2.8 pounds for the past 5-6 months, I believe that is her permanent weight since she already celebrated her first birthday and has been consistent in weight!!! hope all is well! I wanted to share a compliment I received about Mia. She is getting basic puppy training and today the trainer asked me where she came from and continued to say she had never seen such a well socialized puppy. She was amazed that she pees on command on her pee pad and of course I have to thank u for starting her potty training as a baby, she got the hang of it very quickly! She is very friendly and sweet with people and has been like this since the first day she came home :) you take great care of your puppies and I would definitely recommend u to anyone who wants a lil Chihuahua! And to top it off She is soo beautiful!!!

CHIHUAHUA HISTORY
History Legend and history are rich in tales of the ancestors of the present Chihuahua. He is described as a popular pet, as well as a religious necessity. The Techichi, companion of the ancient Toltecs, is believed to be the progenitor of the Chihuahua. No records of the Techichi are, so far, available prior to the 9th century, but it is probable his ancestors were present prior to the Mayans. Dogs approximating the Chihuahua are found in materials from the Pyramids of Cholula, predating 1530 and in the ruins of Chichen Itza on the Yucatan Peninsula.
There is little question the Chihuahua’s principle home was present-day Mexico but the breeds immigration to Europe may be the result of the travels of Christopher Columbus. A historical letter written by Columbus to the King of Spain makes reference to the tiny dog.
A progenitor of the breed was reputedly found in 1850 in old ruins near Casas Grandes in the Mexican state of Chihuahua from which the breed gets its name, although most artifacts relating to its existence are found around Mexico City. A pot featuring the "deer head" variety of Chihuahua has been unearthed at Casas Grandes which dates from 1100–1300 A.D. showing the long history of the breed at this site.
